Pivotal Sound & Lighting has had the privilege of working closely with Mercury Promotions and Wales Comic Con since 2009/2010. Over the years, we have grown with the convention and have become their go-to AV lead, providing technical and production support for all their events, big and small.

As the AV lead, we are responsible for managing and overseeing all the technical requirements related to the Hall Stages, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently throughout the event. Our team of experienced technicians and engineers work tirelessly to ensure that the sound, lighting, and visual elements of the event are of the highest quality, leaving attendees with an unforgettable experience.

One of the most significant projects we worked on with Wales Comic Con was during the ‘Telford Takeover’ shows. We collaborated closely with their show technical manager to offer a complete 360 AV service, providing technical design, project management, LED Video Walls, Stages, PA systems, Lighting, as well as presentation design & implementation.

In addition to providing technical support, we also supplied a team of highly skilled technical staff who were on-site throughout the event to ensure that everything ran seamlessly. Our team worked tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring that all the equipment was set up correctly, and everything was ready for the performers and presenters.

Overall, the ‘Telford Takeover’ shows were a great success, and we were honoured to have been a part of it. Our collaboration with Wales Comic Con and Mercury Promotions has been a long and fruitful one, and we look forward to continuing our partnership and providing our expertise to their events in the future.
