We were recently commissioned by a prestigious global brand to transform Chester Cathedral into a spectacular venue for a themed evening dinner. Our team was tasked with creating an immersive sensory experience that would transport guests to a world of luxury and elegance.

To achieve this goal, we carefully selected and installed a range of lighting and sound equipment that would enhance the beauty and grandeur of the cathedral. Our expert lighting designers created a bespoke architectural lighting scheme that accentuated the intricate details of the building’s Gothic architecture, while also highlighting key features such as stained glass windows and intricate carvings.

In addition, we added a series of moving head lights to create a sense of texture and movement on the cathedral’s ceiling, which helped to immerse guests in the theme of the event. To complete the sensory experience, we strategically placed discreet speakers around the venue that played a carefully curated soundscape throughout the evening.

Each course of the dinner was accompanied by a unique sound design that enhanced the flavours and aromas of the food. The soundscape created a harmonious and multi-sensory experience that elevated the overall atmosphere of the event.
