In 2019, we had the privilege of collaborating on a local community project that brought together many different stakeholders in the Wrexham area. The project, Classical Xover Fundraising Concert, was organized by Calon FM, a community radio station that has been a mainstay of the local media landscape for many years.

As a leading provider of sound and lighting services in the region, Pivotal Sound & Lighting Ltd were approached to provide project management, live and broadcast audio, and lighting for the event. We were delighted to accept the invitation, and we worked closely with the organizers and performers to ensure that everything ran smoothly on the day.

The event was performed to a small audience at Wrexham Glyndŵr’s Television Studio in Wrexham but it was also streamed live online to viewers around the world, making it a truly global affair.

The Classical Xover Fundraising Concert was truly a collaborative effort, with contributions from a range of local institutions and individuals. In addition to Calon FM and Pivotal Sound & Lighting Ltd, the event was supported by Glyndŵr University and a host of talented performers who generously donated their time and talents to the cause.

Overall, we were thrilled to be a part of such a worthwhile and inspiring project, which demonstrated the power of collaboration and community spirit in the Wrexham area. We look forward to continuing to work with local organizations and individuals to bring new projects to life in the future.
